INSTRUCTIONS FOR THUNDERBIRD FROM MOZILLA
Thunderbird is a free e-mail program from Mozilla.
You can download it from Mozilla.com
if you wish to use it.
1) Bring up Thunderbird.
 
If it is not on your desktop, look at Start - Programs and you should find it.
2) Click on TOOLs at top of Thunderbird.
 
Click on Account Settings toward bottom of list.
3) At the bottom of the left side - click on Add Account.
4) Select Email account.
  Click Next.
5) Enter Your Name - use spaces, capitals, titles as desired.
6) Enter your e-mail addresss : (someone)@vcoms.net.
 
Click Next.
7) Incoming mail server is POP3 or POP.
 
Enter Incoming mail server name : vcoms.net
 
Use Global Index should be checked.
 
Click Next.
8) Enter your user name : (someone)
 
Enter account name : vcoms.net
 
 
This is used in your PC to show you the settings
you have just set up - it does not go out to anyone.
 
Click Next.
9) You will be shown what you have set up for this e-mail account.
 
Click Finish.
10) Click Get Mail at top of Thunderbird.
11) Enter your password.
12) Check "Use Password Manager to remember this password"
if you do not wish to have to enter the password each time
you send/get e-mails.
 
Click OK.
