We thought this would be helpful for anyone taking
a trip, or even just going across town, who wanted

to stay in touch through e-mail.

===================================================

An easy way to read your e-mail when you are not at
your computer.

1) Find a way to get on the Internet where you are.

If you are staying at a hotel/hotel/resort, many
now offer access to the Internet for free or a

slight fee. If you are staying with friends or
family, perhaps they have an Internet access.

Many public libraries offer Internet access for
free or a slight fee. If you are just across town

visiting, or at work on your personal time, maybe
they have a computer and Internet access you can use.

2) Get on the Internet.

3) Go to the site : www.vcoms.net

Click on Web Mail near the top.

4) Click on Start Web Mail.

5) For Username : type in your user name

Your e-mail address is (someone)@vcoms.net

Your username to enter here is the (someone) part
of your e-mail address.

6) For Password : type in your e-mail password

7) Click on Login.

8) You will be shown your e-mail and allowed to read it, keep it or delete it.

There are simple boxes to click on the bottom of the screen to access the various options available.

9) When you are done, click on "LOGOUT" at the bottom of the
screen so that no one else may access your e-mail.
Some brief instructions :

If you click on the "FROM" column item, you will be
given a screen that allows you to send an e-mail to
that person.

If you click on the "SUBJECT" column item, you will be
given a screen that shows that e-mail message.

At the bottom of the screen will be various options (Delete,
Reply, Forward.....) for you to use if desired.

If you click on the "MARK" column, and use "Delete Marked
Messages" at the bottom of the screen,

those marked items will be removed from your e-mail.

Click "BACK" to get to the previous screen.

You may also use the "Check Mail" at the bottom of the screen.

That re-fetches your e-mail from the vcoms.net server.
